update- 20241019_(image) As I guess, the

protons from the "fullhalo" SPE emitted on Oct 09 are still very fast and therefore still on a polar earth orbit ( what since there was no earth directed CME in lhe last days seems to be the probable cause for the intensive aurora borealis that still can be observed during the past days . The major geophysical effects of the strong SPE on Okt 09 suczbas tghe typical rise of the integral electron flux therefor justv delays and will be expectable in the next days when these protons emitted as a direct hit , while the related AR was crossing thensolar meridian, with almost light velócity will enter the Southern magnetic pole where they finally will be slown down: It needs to follow the development of such a rare superfast " fully halo" SPE to find out their special behaviour.
