May 8: A full halo CME was observed after an X1 flare in AR S9676 peaking at 05:09 UT on May 8. The CME could reach Earth after noon on May 10 or early on May 11. Another full halo CME was observed after an M8.9 flare at 12:04 UT. Finally a third full halo CME was observed after an X1 flare and an M9.8 flare late in the day. The latter CME is the most significant.
